Privacy policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

This policy describes the information Preevia uses to operate its website and produce observations and intelligence, including information obtained from public sources.

Who operates Preevia

Tapbam Inc., a company registered in Delaware, United States, owns and operates Preevia and is responsible for the information described in this policy. Contact hello@preevia.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we use

Public research records can include posts, replies, quoted context, publication dates, source links, public names and handles, profile images, and engagement or follower counts. We also use public company and market information. Information you send us through an inquiry or support channel can include your name, contact details and the contents of your message. Demo requests include your position, company website, budget and any markets or categories you supply; we save these in our database and send an internal email notification so we can follow up. Our infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and security logs.

Why we use it

We use information to collect relevant evidence, measure and summarize public discussion, produce analysis, display attributable sources, respond to requests, maintain the service and protect it from abuse. Where a legal basis is required, these purposes may rely on our legitimate interests in research, publishing and secure operation; steps requested by you or a contract; legal obligations; or consent where required.

Public information and AI processing

We obtain research records from public websites, social platforms and data providers. Relevant source text and context may be processed by external AI and measurement providers to assess relevance, extract experiences, calculate signals and produce summaries. We retain source records and processing history so findings can be inspected and corrected. Automated outputs can make mistakes; a score describes the collected evidence and does not establish a fact about a person.

What appears publicly

Public observations can display summaries, aggregate measurements and selected public posts, names, handles, profile images and source links. Internal research records and private operator tools are separate from those public pages. Sharing a public post that links to Preevia can make it eligible for collection, but does not ensure inclusion. Private messages to us are not automatically published as public contributions.

Service providers and links

Hosting, database, workflow, data-collection, AI and communications providers may process information needed to deliver the service. Information may be processed in countries other than your own; applicable contractual and legal safeguards govern those arrangements. External links, embedded or remotely loaded profile images, and contribution or booking services may send request information to third parties and are subject to their own policies.

Storage and security

We retain information for the purposes described here, including evidence integrity, service operation, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention varies with the record and purpose; backup copies may persist after a record is removed from an active view. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Website analytics

We use PostHog in the United States to measure visits to public pages, demo interactions and observation sharing. It receives the public page path, limited browser and device information, the referring website, UTM marketing campaign tags, approximate country and predefined interaction events. Country is estimated on our server using a local database (IP Geolocation by DB-IP); the lookup does not send your IP address to that database provider or retain it in application analytics. We collect country only, without city or coordinates. Campaign tags remain in memory during navigation, without analytics cookies or browser storage. It does not receive demo-form contents, free-text searches, source-post contents or private operator-page activity through this integration. Session recording and automatic click capture are disabled. PostHog processes technical request information to generate a temporary server-side hash for cookieless measurement; we do not link analytics to your demo request or create an identified visitor profile. Our analytics integration honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals.

Cookies and browser storage

Our PostHog integration does not set analytics cookies or store analytics data in browser local or session storage. Essential cookies or similar storage may support security and functionality. Third-party services you choose to open may use their own storage.

Your requests and choices

Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also contact an appropriate privacy regulator. Requests can require identity checks and may be subject to lawful exceptions. For a public-source correction or removal request, include the relevant source or Preevia page link. Email hello@preevia.com to make a request.

Updates

We will update this policy when our practices change and show the current revision date above. Please contact us with questions about a particular source, output or use of your information.
